help!

Ribbing sux!  At least *MY* ribbing does.  I'd show you a picture if I could.  I am frustrated.  K6P2 ribbing.  Simple enough. Except, after all this time, that last knit stitch before switching to purl is STILL coming out loose and ugly.  I've tried everything, but nothing seems to be working. And I don't think blocking will help very much in this instance. So PLEASE...I'm begging...what can I do to prevent that last stupid loose knit stitch. Leave a comment!

So I've been MIA again. I've been knitting...a little. I've been depressed....a little. I've been working out...a little. I've been writing....a bit. I'm actually supposed to be working on my outline for the November NaNoWriMo. I'm going to try it again, and seeing that I am unemployed, I think I may make it this time.

In knitting news, there are so many things I want to make. So little time. I'm trying to get my WIPs into the FO pile.  Some still sit in limbo. Like the Criss-Cross top from VK summer '05. It's all knit up, but I still haven't finished. And the sleeveless turtleneck. Need to block it, (maybe this weekend), and get the turtle part done.

I *have* started a Tivoli/Picovoli
for babygirl, and have been looking around for the "right" pattern for a baby boy due in January.  Any suggestions?  I'm torn between a blankie and/or a sweater. I also like the Lionbrand one-piece romper that is free on their site.
